One of our clients is an international FinTech company, the first global brand for card payments, that provides innovative solutions for micro and small businesses and has a clear vision and perspective towards the future. We are now looking for a responsible professional with experience in the accounting field with a desire for development in a rapidly developing multicultural company, who would join their team in the position of:

 

Consolidation specialist

 

Responsibilities:

·         Prepare month-end consolidation management accounts and annual group financial statements

·         Support MoM variance analysis on group level

·         Coordinating the confirmation of customer and vendor accounts and ensuring prompt and accurate inter-company transactions

·         Working closely with legal team to draft needed documents

·         Review accounts produced by other members of the team for accuracy and completeness - feedback points raised and generate improvement ideas

·         Coordinating projects with Finance reporting managers

·         Participate in SAP implementation projects

·         Providing technical insight while streamline reporting

·         Extract, filter and aggregate consolidated data through logical queries

·         Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports

·         Maintain SAP databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy

·         Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks

·         Checking the accuracy of extracted data according to the specifications of existing business

·         Supporting the group audit and the review process for financial statements and reports

·         Handle small projects, present results and meet deadlines by collaborating multiple projects

·         Creating and updating user documentation and standard operating procedures for the newly created reports

·         Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

 

Qualifications: 

·         Bachelor’s degree (BA) or Master in Accounting is required

·         Qualified ACCA or equivalent will be considered as an advantage

·         Robust knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting

·         At least three years of experience in finance function of a multinational company and clear track for ability to work with limited supervision

·         Excellent SAP and MS Office expertise, Advanced excel (macros)

·         Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports

·         Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Fluent English both verbal and written

·         Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results

·         General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow

·         Adaptability and ability to work in a team as well as individually

·         SOX experience would be considered as an advantage
