Business Solutions Architect

City: Sofia

PSF is supporting the hiring process for one of our renowned clients - a highly innovative, global technology company specialized in delivery channel and integration solutions for the financial sector. The company is headquartered in Bulgaria, and currently serves a worldwide client base from 9 regional offices located in Europe, South-East Pacific, Africa and the Americas. The company provides a world class Digital Banking platform that helps financial institutions transform their legacy business to a digital future.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain detailed product knowledge and understanding of actual product implementations, lessons learned, pitfalls to avoid, and suggestions for future projects.
  • Actively work with the Engineering, Service Delivery, Product Management, and other teams to ensure technical alignment between the sales and delivery teams.
  • Actively support the presales team with technical expertise, product knowledge, solution designs, and other relevant deliverables.
  • Help conceptualize and design solutions using the available platforms, documenting high-level architecture to demonstrate the key information flows and how they address the identified client business needs.
  • Provide high-level estimates for product development and implementation in a timely manner in order to support early engagements with clients.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion of the company's footprint as appropriate to meet market needs.
  • Provide inputs to the company's solution roadmap based on customer’s solution usage, needs, and observations in the market.
  • Identify and analyze the competition’s technical solutions and maintain a good understanding of company’s unique value proposition for each engagement.
  • Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with Product Management providing feedback on issues with current products and input around new products.
  • Perform other job tasks assigned to him/her by the management in relation to their competence and professional responsibilities.
  • Know the organization and management structure of the company.
  • Know the principles of formation and movement of information flows within the company.
  • Observe the internal rules of the company.

Skillset & Requirements:

  • Solid educational and professional career track record.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role in a software company. 
  • Deep understanding of applicable technologies like NodeJs, ReactJS, Microservice architecture, relational and/or non-relational DBs.
  • Expert knowledge in SDLC, product management, solution, and service delivery.
  • Ability to map requirements & provide the best solutions involving evaluation & definition of scope and finalization of project requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting and describing complex technical subjects.
  • Previous experience with providing software solutions to financial institutions is an advantage.
  • Strong command of the English Language.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A confident person with a positive and can-do attitude.
  • A highly organized person, able to multitask and prioritize the workload.
