Sales Manager Levante and Canary Islands 

Main responsibilities:

  • Researches and analyses the market of electric water heaters, indirectly heated water tanks, heat pumps and electric heating appliances;
  • Participates in the development of the business strategy and business plan for the Levante and Canary Islands market in line with the general corporate strategy and contribute to the development of the strategy of the Spain Market
  • Advises on the product positioning and pricing strategy for Levante and Canary Islands Region;
  • Drives the implementation of the business strategy and business plan, aiming to achieve the sales and gross margin targets;
  • Proactively identifies and build relationships with potential and existing clients;
  • Regular customer visits in the region;
  • Generates ideas and proposals for development of the product portfolio;
  • Leads the regular sales to clients in accordance with the sales plans and the collection of the receivables;
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc reports in accordiance with the corporate templates.
  • The role could be based in Madrid and would require intensive travelling to Levante and Canary Islands or it could be based in some of the cities within eastern Spain and would require some travelling to Madrid
  • Reports directly to the Associate Director Iberia and South America

Main requirements:

  • University degree in economics, technical science or other major suitable for the position;
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years in business-to-business sales, 5 of which in sales of professional equipment, heating, air conditioning, renewable energy products/ systems, domestic appliances or other installation products
  • Previous experience in an international company would be an advantage;
  • Native Spain and excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
  • Computer literacy: MS Office;
  • Self-starter, dedicated, disciplined and result-oriented individual;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Outgoing, open and honest personality;
  • Willingness to regularly travel in the market;
