For а renowned client – Kambourov & Partners Tax Consulting, one of the top law firms in Bulgaria, we are looking to recruit an experienced and talented professional to join their growing team in the role of:

Assistant Tax Manager - Transfer pricing and International tax

As an Assistant Tax Manager - Transfer pricing and International tax, you will work on complex projects within their independent tax practice.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to broaden your horizons by working in close cooperation with the lawyers at Kambourov & Partners Attorneys at Law.

You will be part of a Tax team advising a client portfolio of large corporate multinational companies on their Transfer Pricing (TP) policies, procedures, and methodologies, as well as on international tax matters. You will help analyze various industries, companies, and processes to determine where value is created and how business activities are remunerated. Your work will help their clients to determine their intercompany TP policies and prepare the related reporting to the tax authorities. You will manage multiple TP engagements and ensure that the delivery of the services is aligned with the respective budget.

Specific job responsibilities:

  • Acting as an account manager for TP and International Tax projects.
  • Supervising regular economic analyses pursuant to the preparation of TP reports, including data-gathering.
  • Preparing relevant TP reports and benchmarking analysis.
  • Analyzing business value chains to establish the most appropriate TP policy.
  • Attending client meetings alone or with superior members of the tax practice/law office.
  • Encouraging teamwork by providing effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Assisting in the sales process and with general marketing e.g., publications and/or events.
  • Participating in tax control procedures. 

Requirements of the position:

  • LL.M. in Law, EU Law, Tax law or Economics.
  • A proven track record of experience in execution and leading of TP engagements of a minimum of 3 years
  • Experience in a similar position in a consulting or law firm would be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable – able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Team fitness as well as a proactive and positive attitude
