They are looking for a Finance & ERP Reporting Controller with deep, hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to help drive accurate, efficient, and automated financial processes across thier growing international organization.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional - such as an experienced accountant, ERP reporting analyst, or controller - who thrives on owning data flows, building ERP-driven reports, and ensuring high-quality financial outputs.
You will take charge of the entire financial reporting and data verification process, partnering closely with external accounting entities to ensure that the results are timely, correct, and compliant with IFRS guidelines. Your involvement will be crucial in automating & optimizing reporting workflows within Business Central, enabling effective reconciliations and granting real-time access to accurate financial data. Additionally, you’ll monitor and report on cash positions, support liquidity forecasting, and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Automation & Financial Reporting (Primary Focus - 60-70 % of the time)
- Design, automate, and optimize internal financial reports and workflows in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Extract, structure, and validate financial data to support timely, accurate, and scalable reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain automated dashboards, reconciliations, and validation checks to streamline finance operations.
- Collaborate with external accountants to ensure ERP data accurately reflects business activity, contractual terms, and proper accounting treatments.
- Support the preparation of consolidated reports across entities, ensuring data consistency and IFRS compliance.
Financial Control & Operational Support
- Oversee the monthly financial close process, reviewing reports from external accountants for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor weekly cash positions, perform reconciliations, and produce internal cash flow reports to support liquidity planning.
- Coordinate short- and medium-term cash forecasting, leveraging ERP data and cross-functional input.
Audit & Compliance Collaboration
- Act as a main point of contact for external auditors, validating accounting treatments and coordinating audit documentation.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal financial controls, reporting policies, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting, controlling, or ERP reporting roles
- Must-have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including:Automating financial reports and dashboards
- Designing validation and control checks
- Managing financial data workflows and reporting modules
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with structured financial datasets
- Solid understanding of IFRS and its application in operational finance
- Proactive, detail-focused mindset with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, international environment
